چکیده

Abstract We study the relationship between surface mechanical load represented by distributed acoustic impedance and current density distribution in a shear mode piezoelectric plate wave resonator. A theoretical analysis based on theory of piezoelectricity trigonometric series is performed. In specific basic case when due to local mass layer, numerical results show that concentrates under layer sensitive physical as well geometric parameters such its location size. This provides foundation for predicting pattern from distribution, which fundamental relevant sensors.

Effects of Surface and Morphological Properties of Zeolite on Impedance Spectroscopy-Based Sensing Performance

Measurement by impedance spectroscopy of the changes in intrazeolitic cation motion of pressed pellets of zeolite particles upon adsorption of dimethylmethylphosphonate (DMMP) provides a strategy for sensing DMMP, a commonly used simulant for highly toxic organophosphate nerve agents. In this work, two strategies for improving the impedance spectroscopy based sensing of DMMP on zeolites were in...

Nonlinear asymptotic impedance model for a Helmholtz resonator liner

The usual nonlinear corrections for a Helmholtz resonator type impedance do not seem to be based on a systematic asymptotic solution of the pertaining equations. We aim to present a systematic derivation of a solution of the nonlinear Helmholtz resonator equation, in order to obtain analytically expressions for impedances close to resonance, while including nonlinear effects. The amplitude regi...

Structural health monitoring using piezoelectric impedance measurements.

This paper presents an overview and recent advances in impedance-based structural health monitoring. The basic principle behind this technique is to apply high-frequency structural excitations (typically greater than 30kHz) through surface-bonded piezoelectric transducers, and measure the impedance of structures by monitoring the current and voltage applied to the piezoelectric transducers. Cha...
